Phase 1 Traffic Management Measures at North Quays

As part of the Waterford Public Infrastructure Project, phase 1 traffic management measures will be installed on Dock Road, Ferrybank, Waterford, starting the week commencing 17th July 2023 for an eight-week period.

The traffic management will be located to the east of the old Ard Rí Hotel entrance and will consist of the lanes heading towards Rice Bridge being closed and a contra-flow on the lanes heading away from Rice Bridge for approximately 100m.  This is phase 1 for the main realignment works for Dock Road/ Fountain Street.

In addition, minor road works incorporating a stop-go traffic management system, will also take place along a short section of Abbey Road for one week, commencing 17th July 2023.

Warnings and signage will be in place, but do expect delays throughout these works.  As works progress to Phase 2 further notifications will be issued.
